POSTER COMPETITION

Dear Colleague,
We are aware that schools are bombarded with national competitions but hope that you will take this opportunity
to engage pupils with a local community event. 
The Moray Music Festival Committee would like to encourage schools to take part in the poster competition. 
The winning pupil will receive a £50 voucher towards artmaterials for their school and a £10 voucher for themselves. 
The winning poster will be used as promotion for the Festival and will be displayed at Festival Venues.
The competition provides a cross curricular relevant context for an art and design challenge and could be used as a
homework task or class activity.

The poster should - 
*illustrate aspects of the Festival – Music, Speech, Drama, Dance
*incorporate Moray Music Festival and the dates 12th -17th March 2012
*be illustrated in colour on A4 paper
*include the name, class and school of the entrant written clearly on the back.

The closing date for entries is Wednesday 8th February 2012 (just before the mid term break)
